Identifying Your Core Desire

In a previous article, I explored a six-step process for manifesting your desires. The initial steps involved defining what you want and ensuring it resonates with your true self. Here, I present two practical exercises to help you with these steps, complete with instructions and personal examples. I hope this guide motivates and empowers you to try them for yourself.

Take-Home Exercise #1: Discovering Your “Sweet Spot”

This exercise is designed to assist you in pinpointing your current desires and narrowing them down to one key desire that you genuinely want and believe you can achieve.

Instructions:

  1. Take a piece of paper and create three columns: one for your desires, one for ranking these desires, and the last for assessing your belief in achieving them.
  2. In the first column, list everything you wish for at this moment—no matter how big or small. Avoid self-judgment; just let your thoughts flow. Reflect on the question: “What would you pursue if you knew you couldn't fail?”
  3. In the second column, rate each desire on a scale of 1 to 10 based on how much you crave it. A score of one indicates it's not a priority, while ten signifies it's your main focus.
  4. In the third column, evaluate each desire on the same scale regarding your belief in manifesting it within the next 30 to 90 days. Be honest with yourself; a lower score is okay and doesn't have to define your future outlook.

Review your list. If a desire has a low belief score, it’s wise not to concentrate on it at this moment. Focusing on such a desire may lead you to dwell on its absence, which could push it further away from you.

Identify the desire with the highest combined score—where both your craving and belief are strong. This is the one to focus on, as it should evoke positive feelings when you think about it.

Take-Home Exercise #2: Joe Dispenza’s Intentions and Elevated Emotions

If you're unfamiliar with Joe Dispenza, I previously discussed his work, which demystifies the process of manifestation and helps individuals harness its power practically and effectively. This exercise aims to deepen your connection to your chosen “sweet spot” desire, enhancing your enthusiasm for it.

Instructions:

  1. Begin by identifying your core desire—ideally, the one you selected in the first exercise.
  2. Assign a capital letter to this desire and write it down on a piece of paper to visualize it during meditation.
  3. Surround the letter with two wavy circular lines to symbolize the vibrational frequency you need to align with your desire.
  4. On the right side of the paper, write down clear intentions that define this desire for you (refer to the previous screenshot for examples). Be sure to omit any specifics about how or when it will manifest.
  5. On the left side of the paper, jot down the elevated emotions you anticipate feeling when your desire becomes a reality. If unsure, consider feelings of gratitude or appreciation, which commonly arise after receiving something significant.

Personal Example: I aim to manifest $7,000 unexpectedly while getting paid for what I love to do. This thought fills me with excitement, gratitude, abundance, and humility.

Reflection on personal desires and emotions

While I can't predict when or how my desire will come to fruition, I am filled with anticipation about how the universe will deliver it at the perfect moment and in the best way, as my belief in its possibility is strong.
