Chapter 1: Curated Nostalgia

Dear Readers, as you explore this curated collection, you will encounter a variety of compelling stories. I have selected a range of eclectic pieces that cater to diverse interests. Additionally, I curate special narratives from my unique publication, Health and Science. This marks the second edition of my newsletter, featuring both progress updates and examples of our work. If you write on these subjects, I warmly invite you to join our community on Medium and Substack. I am also expanding our outreach to Quora.

Recently, I authored a piece discussing Facebook's mislabeling of a genuine Medium article, titled “Meta's Misstep: Reevaluating Facebook's Spam Labeling of Medium Stories.” This situation led to the closure of all our Facebook pages and groups, which I find both ridiculous and frustrating.

After Dr. Yildiz shared my article on Facebook, his account, which had been active for 20 years, was suspended. This incident stressed me out. The Facebook algorithm seems ineffective—doesn't it boast advanced AI capabilities? I hope they rectify these issues soon, especially as we’ve lost access to all our Facebook pages.

Despite these challenges, Dr. Yildiz produced an essential article aimed at helping Substack and Medium writers succeed. His insights resonated deeply with me, especially as I learned valuable points from his clever checklist.

Having grown tired of excessive editing, I've decided to focus on publishing, curating, and promoting outstanding stories instead. My aim remains to support writers and bring joy to readers.

We've recently welcomed numerous new writers into our community, and they deserve our support.

One of my proudest achievements was introducing a monetization strategy for Quora through careful research and experimentation. If you're interested in this platform, feel free to check out my tutorial.

Furthermore, I discussed the alarming repercussions of deepfakes on public health and addressed another concerning public health issue affecting children.

Let's take a moment to congratulate William Spivey for his remarkable recognition in the writing community. We need more passionate authors like him.

Unfortunately, I was cloned again by scammers on Medium, which is incredibly frustrating. I addressed this issue in “I Was Cloned Again: One of the Many Reasons I Canceled My FoM Subscription.” They also cloned Dr. Yildiz recently. To protect ourselves, let’s avoid contacting them via WhatsApp and instead focus on blocking and reporting these accounts. These shorter pieces provide necessary guidance.

Our new newsletter is now live, containing significant updates for writers. Change is in the air.
