Chapter 1: Early UFO Contactee Experiences

In the realm of UFO encounters, early contactees such as Alice Bryant and Orfeo Angelucci stand out for their profound and transformative experiences. Bryant, a New Age author, frequently described her interactions with the “Angel of the Dark,” a celestial being who identified herself as the “Angel of the Divine Plan.” This figure is depicted as towering and majestic, with dark feathers that shimmer at the tips. Enveloped in her wings like a cloak, she wears a wooden bird mask, emphasizing her connection to themes of purification and spiritual awakening.

Her role is to cleanse emotions and fears that obstruct spiritual growth. The bird mask symbolizes her link to both the vulture, which clears away decay, and the eagle, which soars above in light. This imagery reinforces the idea of addressing the shadow self and striving for perfection.

Chapter 2: Orfeo Angelucci's Unique Journey

One of the most captivating early contactees was Orfeo Angelucci, who lived from 1912 to 1993. His experiences were remarkable and distinct, earning him a reputation that separated him from many of his peers. Even skeptics recognized his sincerity, viewing him as a genuine visionary rather than a manipulator exploiting public fascination.

Angelucci's first contact occurred on May 24, 1952, while he was driving home from Burbank, California. He reported seeing a saucer from which two small orbs descended. A reassuring figure communicated to him, alleviating his fears. Shortly after, Angelucci witnessed a crystal cup materialize, containing a delightful and healing liquid. This experience was followed by visions of a striking couple who could read his thoughts.

On August 2 of the same year, Angelucci had a significant encounter that led him to publicly share warnings about an impending world war. He foretold a “New Age of Earth” rising from the remnants of destruction. Over the following six months, he underwent a series of vivid dreams and psychological phenomena, leading him to a beautiful world reminiscent of a past life he referred to as “Neptune.”

Angelucci’s accounts were documented in two books, solidifying his status among contactees. However, his influence waned after the initial wave of interest in UFO phenomena subsided. Upon his passing on July 24, 1993, in Los Angeles, his death went largely unnoticed. Notably, his experiences caught the attention of renowned psychologist C. G. Jung, who examined them in one of his final works. Jung suggested that Angelucci’s journeys reflected the process of individuation, a central theme in modern psychology, albeit expressed in a symbolic and unconscious manner.

Chapter 3: The Channeling of Anoah

Anoah, a being channeled by Austin-based psychic medium Jann Weiss, is associated with the Melchizedek Order of the White Brotherhood—a coalition of wise extraterrestrial and spiritual entities. Many of these sessions have been documented in books and recordings distributed by the Planetary Light Association, which once boasted approximately 3,200 global members. They organized workshops wherein participants would gather to absorb Anoah’s teachings about the shift from an old age to a new era of heightened cosmic consciousness.

During the Rocky Mountain Conference on UFO Investigation in Laramie, Wyoming, in May 1982, Ken McLean shared a statement from “Mr. Watanabe,” an alleged extraterrestrial patriot inhabiting a human body. Known as Anthon, he claimed to have lived on Earth during three distinct incarnations, the first during the Revolutionary War. He asserted that he, along with 150,000 other “incarnate beings,” closely monitored human activities and communicated their findings to extraterrestrial entities.

Anthon claimed humanity is nearing the conclusion of an age that began with the advent of Jesus. Interestingly, he viewed Jesus not as the Son of God, but as a human who had accumulated enough karmic experiences to transcend death. According to Anthon, Jesus oversees the transition into a forthcoming “New Age,” and many incarnate beings remain unaware of their true identities, necessitating awakening to their potential.
