I must confess, we were all incredibly thrilled to be part of Colonists One, a monumental mission costing over a hundred billion dollars aimed at establishing a human settlement on Mars. Our goal was to launch humanity into a thriving space-faring civilization destined to last for eons. Admittedly, the electronics were rather temperamental, and I did lose a toe, but that was a minor inconvenience for being at the forefront of innovation—despite its occasional risks.
