My perspective is that when we lose belief in ourselves, our health begins to decline. We suffer when we disconnect from our true selves, including our deeper needs and desires. In essence, self-confidence represents our authentic selves, free from self-judgment.

To build a health-promoting sense of self-confidence, consider the following strategies:

Firstly, recognize that self-judgment can significantly impact our confidence levels. The moment we criticize ourselves, our self-assurance diminishes. In my younger years, I often felt anxious, plagued by self-doubt about my identity. This is why we can experience nerves when we are preoccupied with worries.

It’s essential to understand that confidence is more of a state of being rather than a fixed personality trait. We can enhance our self-confidence by minimizing judgment. When faced with self-criticism, you have a choice: you can either allow those negative thoughts to consume you or take a moment to breathe and refocus on the present.

Engaging in 'creative expansion' is another vital aspect of nurturing self-confidence. Individuals who solely consume without creating risk losing their joy and pride.

Confidence flourishes through continual creation. This involves initiating and completing projects, taking risks, and embracing experiences that challenge us. Embrace this creative journey with an intensity that might seem excessive to others. My own self-assurance soared as my creative endeavors multiplied.

If you are not expanding, you are contracting.

Strengthening the bond between your physical body and a deeper awareness is crucial.

Awareness is our true essence, while our physical bodies connect us to the material world. This connection links us to the Universal energy that propels the expansion of the cosmos. Reestablishing this connection enhances our well-being. We can achieve this by heightening our physical senses and immersing ourselves in awareness—essentially, reconnecting with our true selves.

When we cultivate this self-awareness, we are guided by a nurturing force. Confidence emerges from knowing this support exists and trusting ourselves to embrace it.

By nurturing self-confidence in this manner, we can significantly enhance our health and resilience. It's important to eat healthily, engage in social interactions, and enjoy walks, but always prioritize your confidence. Doing so may reduce your need for medical visits.
